The summer camp at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge, was absolutely amazing! I got to meet tons of new folks from various Chinese universities and Cambridge itself. The best part? Spending awesome times with my classmates and the older students from ZIBS. I really enjoyed the strategy class taught by Professor Lionel Paolella from the Judge Business School – the guy's a genius with his ideas! And, big thanks to Professor LEI Linan's Strategic Management class; without it, I would've been lost.

There was this one challenge though, being an international student who's still getting the hang of Chinese. Some of the classes at Cambridge were in Chinese, which was a bit tough. It's something they might want to think about, especially since a lot of Chinese students go there hoping to brush up their English and pick up a British accent. But all in all, it was an unforgettable experience. Super grateful for the chance!

My journey to Cambridge was a remarkable adventure I'll never forget. In this historic city, not only did I delve into the realms of innovation and strategic management, taught by esteemed Cambridge faculty, but I also had the chance to explore the prestigious colleges of the University, including the renowned King's College. Immersing myself in the Cambridge lifestyle was a unique experience – dining, residing, and studying in this iconic city.

Coming from a non-technical background in the AI industry, the innovation management course at Cambridge offered me an extraordinary opportunity. I even tried my hand at coding, navigating through a 'data mountain', a challenge that was both exciting and enlightening. The fresh insights and models introduced by Mr. Ye were a revelation, adding a new dimension to my understanding of management.

Wandering through the streets steeped in centuries of Cambridgeshire history, I traced the footsteps of prime ministers, Nobel laureates, and global icons. The cultural fusion of China and the UK, alongside the allure of Britain's ancient architecture, was captivating. This visit marked my second journey to Cambridge, the first being during my undergraduate graduation trip. It transcended academic enrichment, offering a deep dive into cultural exploration. I'm eager for the chance to return to Cambridge for further studies in the future. A heartfelt thanks to ZIBS for this incredible learning opportunity.

Thanks to ZIBS's meticulous arrangements and guidance of Mr. WU, we were deeply engaged in academic exchanges with multiple universities, visited Chinese and local enterprises, and experienced the local culture of South Africa. It was a comprehensive journey integrating academic enhancement, cultural exchange, and personal growth.

We got the chance to observe South African society and China-Africa cooperation through multiple lenses by engaging in the global courses at the GIBS, the local cultural education at the University of Venda, the vision for international cooperation at the University of the Western Cape, and the case studies about South African companies. Professor Stephen from GIBS noted that South Africa is facing an opportunity for digital economic transformation, and GIBS is exploring the possibility to establish the “China-Africa Digital Economy Research Center” with Chinese universities. This plan inspired us and helped us realize the potential for cooperation between China and Africa in education, business, and technology.

On a personal level, this trip also honed my communication skills and revealed my potential in cultural understanding and knowledge of global issues. More importantly, I realized that “communication” extends beyond language to cross-cultural understanding and mutual learning.

We visited Johannesburg, Limpopo, and Cape Town this time for academic exchange, course learning, enterprise visits, and cultural experience. The natural scenery of Cape Town was captivating, but what touched me most were the experiences in Johannesburg and Limpopo.

When we took the course “Developing Effective ESG Strategies” at GIBS in Johannesburg, Professor Stephen showed a photo of a slum: In a cluster of small houses built from corrugated steel sheets or asbestos shingles, a dozen or even dozens of families share a simple makeshift toilet. A discussion ensued on “how to quickly and effectively improve people's lives in the slums.” The stark reality of the local wealth gap was presented so explicitly and strikingly. At the University of Venda, we received a solemn, simple welcome and exchanged ideas with local teachers and students on topics such as personal dreams and digital healthcare reform, realizing their aspirations for their own development and future collaboration.

South Africa, with a median population age of 28.7 years, boasts abundant mineral resources and a superior geographical location, making it an ideal place full of significant opportunities. However, the question “who dares to and has the ability to be part of it” remains my deepest contemplation and inquiry after this journey.

Going on a study tour to South Africa was way more than just visiting different universities and sitting in on lectures. It was a chance to really see and experience a country in a way that you just can’t from a regular tourist trip. Before I went, I thought I knew a bit about South Africa, but being there, meeting local students, teachers, and community members, completely changed how I see things. One of the best parts was studying alongside South African students. We talked about everything from business and sustainability to culture and everyday life. Hearing their stories of hope, creativity, and how they’re working to make progress hit home in a way that books and news articles just couldn’t. It made me realize how important it is to learn directly from people’s lived experiences. The program really opened my eyes to the power of cultural exchange. It’s not just about facts and lectures—it’s about connecting with others, understanding different perspectives, and building empathy. That’s something I’m taking with me as I go forward, both in my studies and in life. South Africa taught me a lot about resilience and hope, and those lessons will stick with me.

This South Africa Study Tour has been an eye-opening experience for me. I used to think that all African countries were underdeveloped in many aspects. I never imagined I would have the opportunity to visit South Africa and this program has completely changed my perspective on Africa and its people for the better. At GIBS, we took a class called Developing Effective ESG Strategies. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-educated and knowledgeable GIBS students were, especially in the field of business. From this class I learned that ESG issues have moved from being voluntary practices to becoming central components of corporate strategy, in which companies that proactively engage with ESG issues are better positioned to manage risks, attract investment, and build long-term competitive advantage. Beyond our studies at GIBS, we also visited different universities with some academic exchanges which not only broadened our academic knowledge but also exposed us to the cultural diversity and enriched our understanding of the region’s higher education system. In addition, we also visited several companies to gain a deeper understanding of the country’s regional development, business landscape, and economic conditions. Overall, this study tour was an amazing experience. It has completely changed my perspective on Africa and its people for the better, leaving a lasting and meaningful impression.

The TOItaly Winter Program is a unique and wonderful trip of cultural exchange and business practice. We attended lectures on China-Italy relations given by professors from Italy's top university, visited world-renowned cultural sites and museums in Italy, and participated in diverse and immersive cultural activities. The exchanges and cooperation with outstanding local companies and institutions are also impressive: at OGR, a new innovation incubator that integrates culture and high technology, we understand the innovation of business models; and the third-generation leader of Zegna, a century-old luxury family business, discussed the secret of an evergreen business with us; we experienced the best integration of social responsibility and business model at the charity foundation Paideia. Immersed in the history, humanities, and artistic atmosphere of Italy, I gained a deeper understanding of the business environment and economic development in China, Italy, and the world.

This study tour to Italy was packed with enriching experiences and high-quality activities. We not only attended classes at the University of Turin but also conducted research in renowned companies. We explored film and religious history in museums, enjoyed magnificent music at the opera house, and had leisurely conversations with local Italian students, which allowed me to fully experience the charm of Turin. Whether it's the history, culture, cuisine, or people, everything about this city is captivating and unforgettable.

Heartfelt thanks to ZIBS for orchestrating this enriching study tour to Melbourne! Our schedule was packed but rewarding, starting with engaging Marketing and Design Thinking sessions at RMIT University and moving on to insightful visits to industry leaders like ANZ Bank and Medibank, where we delved into their operational and managerial strategies. We also immersed ourselves in the region's distinctive gastronomy and cultural allure. Each stop on our journey offered invaluable learning and practical experiences.

Landing in Melbourne, the first surprise was its mild winter—a gentle welcome to this city. After a week, I found Melbourne to be incredibly inclusive and warm, a melting pot of diverse people and cultures that truly reflects its spirit.

At RMIT, I sat in on two classes where the emphasis on professor-student interaction was striking—a model worth emulating.

Reuniting with RMIT students who visited China in late March was a highlight. Together, we explored companies, marveled at local landmarks, forging friendships across borders.

Visits to ANZ, Medibank, and MCG provided a window into foreign banking practices, diverse work cultures, and Australia's rich sports scene. Strolling through Melbourne's streets, I fell for the city's charm.

Eagerly, I anticipate exploring more of Australia's landscapes and joining future study tours organized by ZIBS.

After an 11-hour flight, we touched down in the much-anticipated land of Australia. The Southern Hemisphere's crisp air was a refreshing contrast to the Northern Hemisphere's summer heat, marking the start of an unforgettable and exhilarating study tour.

At RMIT, the MBA classes introduced us to unique Marketing and Design Thinking courses, offering a variety of teaching styles and methods that were both enlightening and beneficial.

Company visits to ANZ Bank, Medibank, and MCG enlightened us about Australia's banking, insurance, and sports industries. The insights into their management practices and strategies were truly impactful.

The scenic drive along the Great Ocean Road and leisurely walks through Melbourne's bustling city center revealed the city's prosperity and inclusiveness, with every turn revealing a new tale.

This MBA study tour was a journey steeped in inspiration and poetry. It was a time of gaining knowledge and understanding, experiencing cross-hemisphere compassion and local traditions. This tour will forever be a cherished and unforgettable chapter in my life's story.
